9th WMO Scientific Conference and Forum on Weather Modification
Antalya, Turkey, 22-25 November 2007
The World Meteorological Organization hold, at the kind invitation of the Turkish State Meteorological Service, the Ninth WMO Scientific Conference on Weather Modification in Antalya, Turkey, 22-24 October 2007. A one day Forum "Technical Underpinning and Key Issues on Weather Modification Research" followed.
This 9th quadrennial meeting was attended by 125 participants from 27 countries. It was opened by the Minister of the Environment and Forestry.
A three day conference followed with oral and poster presentations highlighting a broad spectrum of weather modification activities from research to operational. This was followed by a one day Forum marked by five expert presentations and discussions.
