The WWRP eNews is a quarterly electronic newsletters describing the activities of the World Meteorological Organization's World Weather Research Programme (WMO/WWRP). The activities of the WWRP are international in scope and include research and development projects, forecast demonstration projects, definitive reports on the status of critical research issues facing the weather prediction community and the sponsoring of meetings, conferences, workshops and symposia. The WWRP consists of Working Groups, Expert Teams and the THORPEX programme. The eNews relies heavily on community input. Within the World Meteorological Organzation, the WWRP is overseen by the Weather Research Division of the Atmospheric Research and Environment Branch of the WMO's Research Department.
