WMO Information System (WIS)

RA VI WIS FOCAL POINTS
(updated 12.04.2013)

The implementation of WIS will require close coordination between the National Centres and their associated GISCs, as well as between the WIS Centres and the WMO Secretariat. Therefore, all Members have been requested to nominate WIS Focal Points (see WMO Circular letter of 29 February 2012).

To follow the status of implementation by the RA VI Members, a WIS Implementation Focal Point has been designated: Dr. Herman Asensio (e-mail: hermann.asensio[a]dwd.de).

The Members indicated in yellow have not yet designated their national WIS Focal Points (as of 12 April 2013). The list will be updated when new nominations are recieved.
