New Chair elected for IPM

During the last Informal Planning Meeting (IPM), held in Bali, Indonesia on 7 and 8 May 2010, the participants elected a new Chair. The Secretariat would like to thank Mr Steve Palmer from the UK Met Office for his many years of chairmanship and his constant support, and would like to welcome Mr Jaakko Nuottokari from the Finnish Met Office as new Chair.
