Conical oblique, with cross-nadir swath of 1675 km, fore-viewing swath of 750 km

Coverage/cycle

From 24 h (IR channels in cross-nadir swath, to 4 days (SW channels in dual viewing)

IFOV: 0.5 km for short-wave channels, 1.0 km for thermal IR
