- To review and coordinate the activities of the OPAG, as well as additional related activities of priority to the Commission, in order to ensure their effective implementation and adoption within Member countries by Anupam Kashyapi
- To summarize the status of climate change/variability studies as they impact national and regional agriculture, forestry and fisheries by Azhar Ishak
- To appraise and report on current capabilities in the analysis of climate change and variability specifically as they relate to and affect agriculture, forestry and fisheries at the national and regional levels; this includes analysis of changing peak values of rains, winds, flows of water, sediment and other materials carried, because they are of great importance to agriculture, in collaboration with CCl, where appropriate by Peter Fallon
- To support the elaboration of climate change scenarios and research on climate variability at the national level and summarize them at a regional scale to support the formulation of adaptation strategies for agricultural areas by Samuel Gameda
- To identify deficiencies in the operational applications of long-range predictions for agriculture, and make recommendations for improving the technology for the benefit of agriculture at the national and regional levels by Barnabas Chipindu
