WMO is building on its success at previous sessions of the Conference of Parties (COP) of the United Nations Framework Conference for Climate Change (UNFCCC) by participating in COP 18, Doha, Qatar, from 26 November to 7 December 2012.
The Organization has organized a number of Press Conferences as well as a side event, jointly with other UN partner agencies under the ‘UN Delivering as One’ initiative and climate-related sponsored programmes. The date and time of all events in which WMO will participate are indicated below.
The WMO exhibition booth at COP showcases the role of climate science in the work of the UNFCCC. Recent relevant publications are available at the booth.
