FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES OF METEOROLOGICAL TELECOMMUNICATION CENTRES (MTCS):

World Meteorological Centres (WMCs) and the Regional Telecommunication Hubs (RTHs) Regional Specialized Meteorological Centres (RSMCs) not combined with RTHs National Meteorological Centres (NMCs) Responsibilities of MTCs for the transmission of Observational Data and Processed Information Zone of responsibility: WMCs and (RTHs on the Main Telecommunication Network (MTN) shall maintain the Catalogue of Meteorological Bulletins as regards bulletins issued from the zone for which they are responsible for the collection, exchange and distribution of data, and also including data from the Antarctica, as appropriate.
