The objective of the WWW Operational Information Service (OIS) is to collect from, and distribute to, WMO Members and WWW centres detailed and up-to-date information on facilities, services and products made available in the day-to-day operation of the WWW.

The document "Best practices for the management of the operational information" provides information on why, when and how to update the operational information, and how to be kept informed of the updating of the operational information.
