• The 35th session of the Panel on Tropical Cyclones was held in Manama, Bahrain from 5 to 9 May 2008.

• The 34th session of the Panel on Tropical Cyclones was held in Male, Maldives from 25 February to 1 March 2007.

• The 33rd session of the Panel on Tropical Cyclones was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 30 January to 4 February 2006.

• The 32nd session of the Panel on Tropical Cyclones was held in New Delhi, India from 21 to 26 February 2005.

• Panel News No. 22 was published by the TSU in December 2005

• Panel News No. 21 was published by the TSU in February 2005.

• Attachment of storm surge experts from Maldives and Oman to the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur (India, October 2004).
