art gallery
Nature
has always been a source of inspiration for artists.
Weather, climate and water provide them with infinite and
sometimes dramatic subjects. Encouraged by the work and
collaboration of leading international artist Hans Erni (see
previous item), WMO has established an on-line art gallery,
which was launched on the occasion of World Meteorological
Day 2006.
Other
artists and works will be added in due course, including
children’s paintings and drawings (see item on World
Meteorological Day 2006).
