Who will participate?
Participants
WCC-3 participants include:
- Scientists and climate service providers
- High-level policy-makers
- Global business leaders, and decision-makers from the public and private sectors
The goal is to increase interaction between those who develop and provide climate information and those who use the information for adaptation to climate variability and change. These end-users include decision- and policy-makers working in nearly every socio-economic sector: food and agriculture, water, health, disaster preparedness and risk management, environment, tourism, transport and energy, among others. Invited climate service providers and users will present during the Expert Segment from 31 August to 2 September. The High-Level Segment, 3 September to 4 September, will attract heads of State and/or Government, ministers and other senior policy-makers.
