Complimentary airport transfers

The Responsible Event Management Company will kindly arrange transfers from the airport to the venue hotel (the Susesi Hotel) and back without any payment.
To this end, please complete the Hotel Reservation Form mentioning details of your flight arrival and departure information, or if these are not yet known when booking your accommodation, transmit them as soon as possible using the same form.

Participants who will stay at the Melisa Garden Hotel or the Club Hotel Lagonya will be responsible for their airport transfers. Please see the following information:

Currency

The Turkish currency unit is Turkish Lira (TRY). Most businesses, tour operators, airlines and hotels accept major credit cards and traveler’s cheques.  Banking hours are generally from 8h00 to 17h00 on weekdays, all the banks except located in some shoping centres or malls are closed on weekends.

The average exchange rates in November 2009 were as follows:
1 Euro = 2.20 TRY
1 US$ = 1.48 TRY
1 CHF = 1.45 TRY

Electricity and Mobile Phone Connection

City and town power systems are generally 220-240 volts and 50 Hz with Plug type C, E, and F. However, an adaptor may also be necessary.

Health Requirements/Medical Services

Up-to-date information on International Travel and Health is provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) at the following websites:

Medical services are of a high standard in Turkey and most international prescription drugs are readily available through retail pharmacies.  It is suggested that participants take their personal medical insurance for the duration of their trip.

Internet Facilities

Wireless internet connection will be available in the main conference room, as well as an internet booth with wired Ethernet. Internet connectivity will also be available at the venue hotel (Susesi Hotel).
