Starting from Saturday evening 26 / 11 / 2022 to Sunday 27 / 11 / 2022, the northwestern regions of Libya were affected by air depression at 1007 hPa, associated with air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere. This situation led to heavy rains recorded between 45 - 128 mm within 24 hours causing local valleys runoff and flash flooding leading to two deaths.
